Greenilai Technologies is an agri technology start-up. We aspire to usher-in a positive change in food habits by helping urbanites grow fresh, healthy & pesticide-free vegetables at their premises, requiring no gardening knowledge and very little manual efforts.
Most of us are concerned about the quality of vegetables and fruits available. Reckless usage of pesticides, conditions in which they are grown, harvested, transported and retailed are shocking.
Unfortunately, a very large majority of the urban residents do not have access to space and infrastructure to cultivate. We are focusing on inventing ways and means to enable urban farming within your premises; be it homes, communities, offices or restaurants.
And we are passionate about it.
Hydroponics, the soil-less method of cultivation, is being recognized world over as one of the best methods of urban farming. Compared to soil-based farming, this method requires less than half space, 70% less water, has shorter harvest cycle and gives higher yield. A pesticide-free, eco-friendly urban farming method at its best.
Traditional hydroponics cultivation requires knowledge of plants and need regular attention. Our automated, self-managed system eliminate such pre-requisites and make it possible for anyone to grow most of the vegetables.

Ramki has 30+ years of global experience in project management & software development. He was engaged by Cisco, Sasken and Mascon, amongst others. At Greenilai Ramki heads software development, development of mechanical components, handles manufacturing and developing a processefficient organization.
Ramki holds Masters in Project Management from Keller Management School, US, Masters in Engineering in Electronics from IISc and BE - Electronics & Communication from PSG, Coimbatore.
Jawahar is the Hardware & embedded technologies expert with over 27 years’ experience in high tech R&D. In the past He has developed products for Telecom, Medical, Consumer, Automobile, Agriculture and IoT sectors. He was engaged by Sharp, Mascon and Speech & Software at senior technology positions. Jawahar’s team develops Electronic Hardware, Grow Light & Control Systems for Greenilai systems.
Jawahar holds Masters in Engineering in Electronics from Anna University.

Sajith has 27+ years in technology industry as business strategist and business development professional. He worked for Tech Mahindra, Sharp and Mascon. An entrepreneur since 2013, his first start-up was Series-A funded by a leading VC.
Sajith leads Sales & Marketing, Investor Relationship and Operations at Greenilai.
Sajith did Masters in Management from IIM-Lucknow and holds B.Tech – Electronics from Kerala University.
